About Wendy
Welcome to Literacy Enterprises Tutoring Services (LETS) where educator, Wendy I. Cody, M.Ed., guides children on the path to academic success. With a Master of Arts degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, decades of professional expertise and a results-oriented approach, Wendy specializes in supporting children and adults become confident, avid readers, writers and speakers. At LETS, we believe every person's literacy learning journey is unique and tailor our approach to each student's individual needs and gifts, ensuring they shine brightly and feel confident in their literacy skills. Wendy has taught in private, public and international schools, and has homeschooled her 3 children. She understands the limitations of classroom-based instruction and meets children where they are. All programs are based in sound literacy pedagogy and well-researched, effective literacy practices. Wendy is a state-certified educator in both Elementary Education and English as a Second Language with training in Montessori and International Baccalaureate (IB) education.
